The Chrysanthos Superior Glazes are gloss-finish earthenware / low fire glazes that are food safe and non-toxic. Available in a variety of colours, this range is classified according to opaque, semi-transparent, or transparent coverage. The opaque finish is perfect for completely covering the surface. The semi-transparent finish adds depth and dimension to your work. The transparent finish is ideal for highlighting the natural colour of your clay body, or for use over underglaze decoration.

SG081 PRISM RED

• Firing range between Cone 07 (984°C) – Cone 03 (1,101°C).
  
  
• Semi-transparent.
  
  
• Best applied on bisque that has been fired between cone 04 (1,060°C) and cone 03 (1,101°C) - slightly higher than the glaze temperature.
  
  
• Apply 2-3 coats with a soft brush. Ensure each coat is dry before applying subsequent coats.
  
  
• Food safe if fired correctly.

• Colours are intermixable within the range.
